Wine Review : It’s a delicious wine but I’ll likely pay a little more to buy it from a local wine shop than buying from Total Wine. If you purchase it from Total Wine you will be inundated with multiple email requests to respond to surveys begging for you to review it.I bought this at a local store based on the reviews. No, this wine did not meet my standards at all. It was a 2019 but it tasted very young and harsh. Even after leaving it to breathe for a good hour and even trying it the next day, it did not improve.Great wine for the price. Must be decanted for 1/2 hr.
Wine Folly: On page 125 of the Wine Folly book. It can be found that the Malbec is one of Argentina's most popular wines. It is a more fruit based wine that also consists of a nice bold mixture of fruit flavors. Then it was also explained that the finish of the wine is smooth but also chocolatey . It was also explained that the Malbec can be paired well with melted blue cheese. I have never had blue cheese but would be more than willing to try it then to sample it with this wine to see what my personal reaction would be. Some of the distinct fruit flavors that can be felt through the wine are red plum and blackberry . It should be served at room temperature and decanted for 30 mins which lines up with what some of the reviewers stated.
My review:
I will start off with what I did wrong. I had many wines that needed to be chilled and pre-cooled this wine when it is best served at room temperature. So some of the direct flavors may not be felt or experienced by me but I will attempt to try this wine later once it is room temperature and well and see if there are any major differences I could get. When smelling the wine I feel I could get the fullness of the red plums. The color in the glass was also gorgeous and felt so deep that you could drown in it. I then did my actual tasting portion of the wine. Then the tasting was lackluster for me. It wasn't too dry or bitter, the finish was smooth but there was nothing exciting from the wine. I couldn't taste any of the boldness or fruit flavors. Which shows the importance of the wine being room temperature but since it felt so good when I did taste it that I am expecting it to be amazing once it is at the correct temperature.
The results indicate that individuals who have a positive attitude toward the health advantages of wine will have a hedonic, or pleasurable, urge to purchase or consume wine. Additionally, the socializing impact is probably going to intensify enjoyment; wine drinkers are more likely to have a good time when they are around friends or relatives (Mild Spirit Thailand).
