Wine Folly: When looking at Wine Folly it was able to find Rose wines and it was stated that these are typically favorites among the people who have tried them but it was also stated in class that sometimes people stay away from them and try not to try them due to them being different. Chambourcin grapes are stated to be purple skinned and a hybrid classification of grapes. This is mostly produced in the US and in Australia. It is typically found in red wines but can be mixed with others to produce different wines. Vidal Blanc is a white grape hybrid that typically has a sweeter finish.
My review: So I started by looking at the wine. It had a nice and pleasant color. My favorite color is pink so I am really fond of the Rose wines. I then used my tasting glass to swirl and sniff. The results of my smell test was that you could get the aromas of the honey. It was very strong and welcoming to smell the honey. I also smelt an abundance of strawberries which are my favorite so it was blissful to get that aroma of a fresh strawberry during the valentines season. It had also been aged for a year which I felt was different since on some of the others it was not pointed out how long it was aged. It was then time to taste it and I was kind of disappointed. It smelt great and looked great but then I went and tried it and it was bitter. It still tasted nice but it did have a bitter finish and I was not pleased with that feeling but the initial taste was pleasant.
