Wine Review : They taste the way a light, floral perfume smells. The sensation is striking, very different from other grapes. What Muscats are is the taste of a wonderful wine.Yellow straw color. Aromas of peach skin, fresh lychee, jasmine, rose petal, elderflower, and ginger with a supple, lively, petillant, fruity light body and an even, interesting, brisk fresh-made paper, pear, and lychee soda finish with no oak flavor. A zesty and slightly petillant, dry yet juicy Traminette.
Wine Folly: It was told via Wine folly Pg. 138 that muscat is an ancient aromatic. It is also a variety that originated in Greece. It is also going to be extremely sweet but also has a high acidity since it is sweet as well as very low alcohol content. Then conversely is the Traminette which is also sweet but has lesser sweetness than the Muscat. This also has an extremely low acidity and very little tannins. (Pg. 115)
My review: This wine had a nice scent but no precise scents to come from it. It seemed to have more or less of an alcohol scent to me and smelt more like a mixed drink than wine. It paired well with table grapes and crackers. It had a very plain and very relaxed neutral taste. I felt it was a very nice wine and would seem calm enough to have a wedding or corporate event. My mom enjoyed this wine tasting. She was more of a fan of this one than any of the others. It also gave me a smooth finish and no bitterness. I felt it was sweet, and I enjoyed the sweet wine.
