Wine Review : grapes with fully ripe flavors and great fruit purity. This is reflected in our Reserve Chardonnay with aromas of coconut and pineapple and a palate showing finesse, depth and substantial length. Full flavors are balanced by crisp acidity.
Wine Folly: It was stated on Wine Folly page 96 that Chardonnay is again one of the world's most popular grapes and can be made in a wide range of wines and can be added to other wines as well. It is also not that sweet and has a moderate alcohol content with very little tannins. It is best paired with subtle flavors such as creamy and buttery items. It can also give off scents and flavors such as yellow apples, starfruit, and pineapples.
My review: When doing my Swirl and Sniff test I was able to get very little on the sniff. It has such a light and airy smell that I was unsure what was really in it just by smelling the aromas. I did get a hint of oak from the wine but wasn't strong enough to to be definitive in it having an oak scent just small hints. It had no taste for me and had a smooth finish. When tasting I did this with my mom who does not drink wine at all and she felt it had a really bitter taste and that it gave her some scents of hazelnuts.
